World Robotics 2023 Report: Asia ahead of Europe and the Americas

International Federation of Robotics released a new World Robotics 2023 Report. The report recorded 553052 industrial robot installations in factories around the world. It is a significant growth rate of 5% in 2022, year-on-year. Most of the industrial robots exists and have been recently deployed in Asia. China is by far the world’s largest market. On average, annual robot installations have grown by 13% each year (2017-2022).

And where is the Europe?

The European Union (EU) remains the world’s second largest market (70781 units; +5%) in 2022. Germany is one of the top 5 adopters worldwide with a market share of 36% within the EU.
